Y Squares is a member of the Northern New Jersey Square Dancers Association (NNJSDA). Y Squares dances the Mainstream Program on the second and fourth Fridays of each month. Our Club motto is "We dance for FUN!"

The Dance location is the Frank K. Hehnly School, 590 Raritan Road, Clark, NJ 07066. We dance from September to May. An evening schedule is as follows on the second and fourth Fridays:
7:30-8:00 PM Pre-Rounds - Round Dancing
8:00-10:30 PM --Mainstream Dancing with Rounds between Tips, The Third Tip is a "teach", & the last tip is Plus.

During June, July, and August, Y Squares dances as part of the "5 CLUBS" on the first and third Saturdays at the air-conditioned hall at the YMCA/Chisholm Community Center, So, Springfield & Shunpike, Springfield, NJ. The summer schedule is pre-rounds at 7:30 and alternate Mainstream/Plus and rounds from 8:00-10:30.

Square Dance lessons are provided each year on Tuesday evenings starting in September and ending in May. The lessons are also held at the Hehnly School, 590 Raritan Road, Clark 07066 from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.

Y Squares invites all square dancers to join us Friday evenings. We invite all newcomers to come to our FREE OPEN HOUSE TUESDAY, SEPT 16, 2008, @ 7:30 PM.

Our welcome back dance is Friday Sept. 12, with Mark Franks calling and Karen Kushla cueing rounds.  On Friday Sept 26th, we will be doing a joint dance with Bee Sharps at Hehnley School with Mike Callahan from Rochester, NY calling and Karen Kushla cueing.  This is a dance you don't want to miss!
